Jun. 27th, 2003 03:16 pmHad lunch with Jacqui today. Started with her shrieking at the sight of my face, which wasn't the best beginning! Yes, I know I'm naturally pale, but is the fake tan that much different??!
We had a nice chat, as usual, and I mourned my missing out on the Ireland trip. I also succumbed to temptation and had a chocolate brownie, despite knowing that I'm going to eat myself silly tonight. Cazimir's is so nice!
College was funny today - it's Graduation and it felt very strange to see everyone in their robes. Was it really two years since I did that? Where did the time go?
The College is also full of sculpture at the moment, some of which is lovely, some of which is just strange! My favourite is called Paparazzi and is on the pathway from Chapel Court to the Library. It's a bank of cameras that caught me by surprise and really made me look twice. I noticed my least favourite (naming no names) when I came back to work after May Week and thought it was a remnant from the May Ball. There are some good pieces and the College looks really lovely at this time of year, so if you're free, pop into College! [/advert]
