terriemMy garden was all pretty with snow this morning. Not enough to make a snowman but there are more blizzards forecast, so I'm hoping for snowman fun on my day off work this Friday. But only if I can find a way to make my flat warm up slightly and only after completion of music/spreadsheet fun.
A mouse climbed up my kettle last night and hid in a hanging dishtowel. Apparently screaming and throwing a London A to Z doesn't work in moving these creatures, but cowering on the sofa, constructing a pole made from 10 pens and sellotape and poking the dishtowel until it jumps out does. It landed behind my cooker with a bit of a thud, so I'm worried it's dead, but I'm too much of a wuss to go and check. I hate invading animals.
For your consideration: Butch Bassidy and the Sundance Squid, Wyatt Carp, Billy the Cod, Wild Bill Haddock. Which is the best? Can you think of any more? (Rogue entry: Sitting Gull.)
